The Netherlands’ Radboud University Scholarships 2023 is currently accepting applications. The Radboud Scholarship program is incredibly competitive. There are a maximum of 26 Radboud Scholarships available for 2023–2024: one each for the faculties of arts (1), law (9), medical sciences (1), Nijmegen School of management (2), philosophy, theology, and religious studies (1), science (10), and social sciences (2).

You will only be eligible to apply for a Radboud Scholarship if you:

  • hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport
  • are not eligible for the lower EU/EEA tuition fee for other reasons
  • have (will obtain) a Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands, have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands and did not receive any previous education in the Netherlands (exchange programs excluded, provided that they are part of the bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands)
  • meet the English language proficiency requirement for the Master’s program of your choice
  • have been fully admitted to the English-taught Master’s degree program starting 1 September 2023 as stated in the formal letter of admission
  • can comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands
  • are enrolled at Radboud University as full-time students for the academic year and Master’s degree program for which the scholarship will be awarded

  • The Orange Tulip Scholarship, the Fulbright-Radboud Scholarship, and the Radboud Encouragement Scholarship cannot be combined with the Radboud Scholarship. If qualified, you may submit more than one application; however, only one scholarship will be awarded. Please take note that you can only apply for one of these two; you cannot apply for the Radboud Scholarship Program and the Radboud Encouragement Scholarship.
  • If you are awarded a scholarship and accepted into a two-year master’s program, you must pass all of the first year’s courses to be eligible for the grant in the second year.
  • The selection for the scholarship and the admission to the Master’s program are two separate processes: admission to the Master’s program does not imply selection for the scholarship.
  • You can apply by mentioning that you want to apply for a Radboud Scholarship in the OSIRIS Application system when you apply for admission to a Master’s program. Following that, you will be required to upload your curriculum vitae and two reference letters. You can upload these documents once more for your scholarship application if you previously uploaded them for your Master’s program application.
