The Canadian Celiac Association is offering grants up to $25,000 for scientific, applied science, medical, or other research projects in Canada that are focused on celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, or the socioeconomic effects of living with these disorders.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be working on a research project in a scientific, applied science, and/or medical nature relevant to celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, and/or non-celiac gluten sensitivity, or the socio-economic implications of delayed diagnosis and/or living with these conditions.
  • Applicants are required to meet the admission requirements of the university for their desired course and course level. 
  • Applicants must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
    • CAEL – 70 
    • Cambridge English Qualifications – 180 
    • CEL – 600 
    • IELTS – 6.5 
    • PTE – 65 
    • TOEFL IBT – 90 
    • DET – 125
